Overview
Pulse is ARK's async standup and survey tool. Scheduled questions, polls, and pulse surveys delivered in the chat tool your team already uses — running on your Supabase, no per-seat fees.
What Pulse does
Three core loops:
- Check-ins (standups) — scheduled questions delivered to each team member on a cadence you define. They answer in a minute, Pulse rolls up a digest.
- Polls and surveys — from a single question to a multi-question pulse survey or eNPS. Anonymous or attributed.
- Reminders — nudges people with deadlines, task follow-ups, or scheduled "don't forget" prompts. Timezone-aware.
Delivery happens through Slack, Comms, email, or the web dashboard. Collection goes back through the same channel.

How Pulse fits with other ARK products
- Comms — Pulse runs natively inside Comms channels. Questions post as channel messages; replies feed into Pulse.
- Track — survey results can attach to contact or company records (customer-health signal).
- Ink — embed a live digest block in an Ink page for a rolling team update doc.
- Hive (coming) — Pulse digests roll up into the leadership view.
Cross-product integrations require both products to share the same Supabase project.
Feature highlights
Async standups. No scheduled meeting, no video fatigue. Each person answers on their time, Pulse assembles a digest. Blockers are auto-flagged for the team lead.
Pulse surveys. Lightweight, recurring surveys that catch team-health issues early. eNPS template is one-click.
Templates. Every standup style ("Yesterday / Today / Blockers", "Mood / Wins / Blockers", "What shipped / What's stuck") ships as a starting point. Customize freely.
Slack-native. Install the Pulse Slack app; standups post to a user's DM, they reply there, Pulse collates. No context switch.
Works without chat. If your team has no Slack or Comms, Pulse falls back to email + a clean web form. Nobody forces a chat tool.
Trends. Every standup produces a trend chart — participation, sentiment, and response-time over weeks. CSV export for any question.
